Originally from France, Beatrice is an experienced Osteopath with an empowering approach to health. She first completed her degrees in Lyon (ISO) then in London at the University College of Osteopathy (previously known as the BSO). For 8 years, she established a successful practice in South London and lately worked in specialist care at the Harley Street Specialist Hospital. Now based in South Wales, she practises at the Swansea Wellbeing Centre and has joined the teaching team of the Osteopathy Masters at Swansea University (Health and Wellbeing Academy). Seeing babies, children and adults, her approach is global and effective in the treatment of a wide range of health issues. She combines functional, visceral, cranial and biodynamic Osteopathy not only to relieve pain, but also to work preventatively and allow us to live in our bodies with ease. Beatrice specialises in Chronic Pain, Women’s health, Pregnancy, Paediatrics and is Trauma-informed through continued postgraduate learning and research. She aims at assisting every stage of our lives with osteopathy, from pre- and post-natal care, seeing babies, children and teens through their developmental milestones, supporting good health in adult life, right through to an active older age. Beatrice has also been an experienced practitioner in Tui Na Massage since 2010. After completing a three-year course at the Shao Yang Institute in Lyon (Fr), she has practised Therapeutic Massage and Acupressure, growing her knowledge of the body meridians and their influence on health. This is a unique skill in her current practice. Beatrice is passionate in the Mind-Body research. She has worked at the Women and Girls Network in West London for five years to provide a holistic recovery program to women who survived or were at risk of violence. Currently attending postgraduate courses in Trauma Somatic Healing, she has strongly enhanced her understanding on how our body expresses past trauma while having an inherent ability to self-regulate. Her treatment can support us in finding balance on a body, mind and spirit level, working alongside other professionals of this field. Outside the practice, Beatrice has been an experienced dancer, performer and vocalist for over 20 years which enables her to provide specialised advice to performing artists. |
