Osteopathy and Massage Therapy An Integrative Approach to Health
Osteopathy Functional and Craniosacral approach Babies - Children - Adults - Sport injuries - Pregnancy - Postnatal - Women's health
Our daily activities, stress, hormonal changes and other environmental factors have a constant impact on our bodies and we sometimes struggle to adapt to these changes without injury. Based on a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Osteopathy is a manual therapy aimed at restoring function and balance to the body systems. My approach is not limited to joints but Fascias, Viscera, Ligaments integrity, Muscular release, Nerve and Fluid systems. My knowledge of Biodynamics helps me integrate the full picture of why an injury has occurred, considering emotional stress and traumas that may be barriers to a smooth recovery.
Osteopathy for babies includes Cranial and Biodynamic approaches: a very subtle therapy of the whole body that aims at unraveling patterns and strains the body has developed in response to different stress throughout pregnancy, delivery and postnatal periods. It's an excellent way of treating babies and children to help their physical development.
Tui Na Therapeutic Massage Deep tissue, Acupressure and Aromatherapy
This holistic massage originates from the Traditional Chinese Medicine. Tui Na is a combination of deep tissue massage and acupressure. An effective and natural approach to aid recovery, treating the individual as a whole.
Based on the ancient theory of Meridians, it enhances healing and promotes the balance of the body and the mind. I also work with essential oils since they own many therapeutic properties. The use of the appropriate fragrance in Massage Therapy enhances relaxation and can help ease aches and pains.
